It has a greater cutting capacity for it’s size of pruner. The blades of this bypass pruner are hardened Japanese carbon steel blades that are heat treated for optimum sharpness toughness. The upper blade is precision ground to give a sharp cutting edge that won’t crush delicate stems. The blade also has a telfon coating for non-gumming effects as well.
